Get in Shape Fast! The Pro Wrestling Cardio Workout

Cardiovascular training is one of, if not, the most essential component of pro wrestling training. No other cardio work out is as extreme as it is to workout to be a pro wrestler. In pro wrestling, you shouldn’t be interested in that mindless cardio where your brain goes to a different place. No, you need to focus on your heart and lungs while also concentrating on stimulating your mind. This is a thinking mans sport, all the meat head spots are already taken! Follow Santino Bros Pro Wrestling Schools head train Kaos as he takes you through this grueling yet satisfying exercise routine.

The Pro Wrestlers cardiovascular work out will be intense, but may begin slowly. Start off with some fundamental forward and backward rolls, nothing major, simply adequate to kick start your heart beats per minute. (About 20 total will do). The Forward roll. Make a fist in both hands, plant the flat part of your wrist on the mat, kick your feet over your head using the moment to get back to your feet. The backward roll. Begin back pushing off your feet to a fast seated posture, using the momentum to roll back, planting your fist on the pad(protecting your neck) and coming back to your feet.

Following move on to quick core workouts. Push ups: 15 Military Push ups (Kaos Push ups) Straight form, body as flat and stiff as a board. Head up, and knock out the first 15, take a 15 count rest (in the perfect push up position) then move to 14, with a 14 count rest so on and so forth all the way down to 1. Now that you’ve at minimum broken a sweat. Move on to some standing squats.

Squats: Minimum of 150. Legs shoulder width apart. Hands moreover on top of your head, cross your chest or your sides lifting them up (directly in front of you) on the squat down. Back straight, head up, and squat to a seated position, 150 times. Now that your warmed up, time to begin the muscle fatigue cardio.
Submission Wrestling. Starting in standing position, the first man (or woman) steps into the squared circle, going 10 one minute rounds with a fresh opponent. (Doesn’t matter if you submit or win, everyone goes the full minute) 30 second rest between matches and first match is 3 minutes. (Total 11 rounds)

Now it’s time to bring it home. Just as soon as you imagined you gave all that you can give. Just when you thought you have nothing left in the tank. Just when you thinks it’s all over. This is the moment that you have to dig down deep. Bring out your internal fighting spirit! When an every day Joe says I quit, that’s when you kick it times 10! That never say die mindset. Bring out the fire that breathes within. It’s time for the Universal Pro Wrestling routine.

Start off by whipping your opponent off the ropes with a right handed Latigo (similar to an arm drag for the American Wrestling fans out there). Bypass his return charge to you. Follow up with a drop down and a quick leap frog. Try to blast your opponent with a vicious clothesline. Watch out, cause if he duck he may hit you with a destructive shoulder block. No concerns, if he does, do your drop down, leap frog sequence and catch him with a big hiptoss. Cover (Pin) and repeat, 5 times. Switching roles (Doing both sides of this sequence counts as 1) Absorb each fall with your feet as much as possible, you want to take the least amount of damage as you can. And remember, only a trained Pro Wrestler can perform this task. This is all done in 30 minutes time. You can’t beat this extreme workout.

The Mayweather vs Mosley Bout

In a bout that many boxing fans feel is long overdue, the Mayweather versus Mosley combat will happen May 1st. Floyd Mayweather and Shane Sugar Mosley will face off at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. This fight will feature a couple of the top three welterweight competitors. This struggle is vital for each rival, but a win by Mayweather may give him a chance at Manny Pacquiao.

Besides being standing room only at the MGM Grand arena, Mayweather vs Mosley fight tickets will be available at local movie theaters across the country.  The battle will be relayed live and in high definition at 9:00PM (Eastern) / 6:00PM (Pacific)on the evening of the bout.

Mayweather  is 40 and 0, and most likely has extra at stake in this fight than Mosley does. Some people voice that he has avoided prime competition all through his career. He does have some notable victories in his previous couple of bouts with Oscar De LaHoya and Juan Manuel Marquez, however Mosley has the jab velocity that Mayweather has not seen since his bout with Zab Judah way back in 2006. Mosley hasn’t fought in 15 months so he ought to come into the contest in nice form, despite being 39. Mayweather doesn’t get off to the fastest of starts and popping out of the starting gate firing could probably be the key for Shane Mosley.

Mosley is  46-5 and is 4-1 in his last 5 contests. His sole loss during this period was to Miguel Cotto with a unanimous decision. The question regarding Mosley is how he will come back after such an extended layoff. Will the time off show simply how outdated he is, or will the 15 months off allow him to get into the best shape of his career. On the other side though, Mayweather has not been way more energetic within the ring and by the day of this combat, he will have fought just once within the final 29 months, that being towards Marquez.

If Mayweather can keep away from a thrashing, it might set up one other combat opposing Pacquiao. The first was never finalized due to differences on drug testing. As an alternative, Pacquiao received Joshua Clottey which he beat back in March. Pacquiao has said that he desires his chance at Mayweather, however a loss to Mosley by Mayweather might prevent this much anticipated bout between the two.

Some Things to Consider When Choosing a Martial Arts School

Martial arts takes lots of dedication and practice, and once you’ve learned some of the basic moves, you may want to think about attending a martial art school. Here are some things you should know before enrolling in a school, as well as some ways that you can make sure you’re prepared for your classes.

When you’re learning all you can about the fighting arts, it’s important to know a little history about the form of martial arts you want to practice. For instance, knowing that Okinawa is considered the birthplace of karate, or that Zen is often associated with combative arts will help you to achieve your meditation goals as well as increase your physical strength.

Kung Fu is considered to be the work of an Indian monk who exercised and meditated in the Hunan province of China. Later on, the system of movement became more organized over the years to resemble the type of martial arts you may be learning.

Deciding whether or not you want to learn more about soft or hard combat will also help you when you are choosing the right martial art school. You should decide if you want to learn a style like Judo, which is considered hard combat. In hard combat, each punch or kick is extremely precise, and is meant to injure the opponent which means it should not be used unless necessary.

Soft combat is the term used for styles like Aikido or some forms of Eskrima, because you will not have to face your opponent head-on, but will use style and agility, as well as circular movements and weapons such as sticks or swords in order to achieve victory in a spar.

Before you begin taking your classes, and even while you’re learning, be sure to engage in a number of cardiovascular exercises so that you can have the type of energy and stamina that is needed in order to spar for long periods of time. You can do this by spending time on the treadmill before or after your martial art school session, or going on a run or walk in the morning.

You should also spend more time with weight training so that you can maneuver the swords, daggers, and additional weapons that you will be using in class. For more information on the fighting schools that you can attend, be sure to visit sites like www.dojolocator.com or www.findmmagym.com
